Victorious Beauty uses a neurotoxin to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Anti-wrinkle injections temporarily block muscular nerve impulses to stop contractions. The solution injects into precise skin areas and takes effect after a fortnight. Your body will clear the neurotoxin over a three to six month period, when muscle contraction will restart. A wrinkle is a skin depression that shortens when the facial muscles contract. Skin above the depression folds to cause lines and, when it becomes more familiar with contractions, these lines eventually etch in permanently.

Consultations tend to be thorough, but the process only takes minutes to complete. Expect mild redness at injection points and small bumps where the solution sits under the skin. These small side effects settle within 10 minutes of us completing anti-wrinkle injections. This low period of downtime means that you can visit us for a treatment during your lunch break.
