Victorious Beauty provides a dedicated aftercare service for all clients in Manchester and the surrounding areas. Our qualified clinicians will discuss aftercare requirements with you before and after your treatment.
Stay upright and exercise the treated muscles by smiling, frowning or raising your eyebrows to help the treatment absorb. Do not rub, touch, or massage the treated area and avoid applying makeup to the treated areas for at least 6 hours.
Avoid intense physical activity like heavy workouts or running. Light walking is acceptable after 4 hours. You should also stay out of saunas, hot tubs, tanning beds, and avoid direct sun exposure or very hot showers. If the forehead has been treated, avoid wearing tight hats or headbands.
Avoid alcohol, as it can increase the risk of bruising, and ensure you undergo no other skin treatments, such as facials, chemical peels or microneedling.
You can typically resume normal daily activities and most forms of exercise 24 hours after receiving anti-wrinkle treatments. It is best to sleep on your back for the first night to avoid pressure on the injection sites.
